In memory of European cooperation

  1. This natural boulder actually comes from Toruń's Slovakian twin-town Čadca and is unique to that area. Čadca has been twinned with Toruń since 1996. It is located in the North-West region of Slovakia, very close to the Polish and Czech borders. The population is 23,000, which makes it far smaller than Toruń(218,000). It is a sleepy yet attractive town in an area of extreme natural beauty, surrounded by forests and rolling foot-hills.

I should know...as I am involved in the twinning of Toruń and was there a few months ago on business!
