Matura

In Polish schools it is last exam's time - "matura". A secondary- school certificate is necessary to study. But florescence of horse-chestnuts (symbol of matura) is late this year...

  1. Awww...don't they look lovely in their crisp black and white colours! I take it you are a teacher then. Which school are you in? I kind of recognise that classroom...but then again most Polish state schools look the same.

    Matura is the equivalent of the English A'Level exams...but in Poland students take it when they are 19, whereas in the UK they are 18. So British students usually begin university a year younger (unless they take a Gap Year).
